The many traditions and holiday carols sometimes outshine the true reason for Christmas: The Birthday of Jesus Christ.During this year’s Christmas season, there is debate in Harrisburg over whether babies that have lived 20 weeks in their mother’s womb shall have the right to a birthday or should be threatened by dismemberment abortion. The Pennsylvania House and Senate have passed a bill (SB3) that would restrict abortions of a baby after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
However, abortion advocate Governor Tom Wolf has pledged to veto the bill and is parading around with other far-left radical liberals who oppose the bill which gives innocent unborn children a chance at life. (Read more)

NORRISTOWN, PA - Republican Commissioner Joe Gale said he believed a large contributing factor to the issues faced by Voter Services department was high turnover in the department's top positions, including the resignations of two top officials, Director Kelly Green and Manager Andee Knopf, within two months of the general election. "That alone would create chaos in a department, let alone weeks before a big election," Gale said.
Gale also said he felt Voter Services Administrator Matt Macekura, who joined the department last fall after working in the county's Assets & Infrastructure Department, did not have an employment background that qualified him for the position, referring to him as a "political operative" and saying that such hires undermined voter confidence in elections.

Gale said the added fee was the latest in "an endless cycle of waste, fraud, and abuse" when it comes to government spending. "People are fed up with government grabbing money out of their pocketbooks and wallets, constantly, it's never-ending," Gale said. "Eventually, you have to say enough is enough."

This motion did not pass because neither of the two Democratic commissioners seconded his motion. A lone Norristown resident also spoke but did not offer an opinion. HARRISBURG, PA - In his race for Commissioner, Joe Gale ran as an unabashed conservative. Earlier this week Commissioner Gale took a vocal stand for those principles and saved his constituents $3.5 million. Due to a law passed in 2013, Pennsylvania currently has the highest gasoline taxes in the country. That same law contained a provision allowing counties to enact a $5 registration fee for vehicles. Seeing an easy source of revenue, Gale’s Democratic colleagues were set to extract more money from Montgomery County taxpayers. That plan was derailed when Joe brought media attention to the pending vote. Unlike his Republican predecessor, who would “go along to get along”, Gale went to the public to make sure they were aware of the tax increase.

Commissioner Joe Gale says Act 89 was passed in 2013 to pay for roads and, he adds, it's flawed. "What we gained from Act 89 was the highest gas tax in the whole entire nation. I think the public pays enough. We already have 50 cents per gallon tax at the pump. What are they doing with the money that they can't maintain roads and bridges?". Gale, a guest on WNPV's AM Edition, says the issue was raised two weeks ago, but was taken off the agenda at the last minute. Gale plans to vote against it if it comes up again. Gale says part of his campaign platform was to keep costs down for taxpayers. Gale says county taxpayers recently had their property taxes raised, bringing in 18 million dollars to the county.
